The player may suggest an aspect (e.g. skill, class, race, etc.) for an NPC that they would like to exist in Neudorf.
They will be introduced to the in-game town and will remain for a minimum of one year (though they could very well remain longer as long as there are no in-game reasons for them to leave and nothing kills them).
This is similar to the recent input the community had on suggesting NPC aspects, but it is not put to a public vote and there is no public notice who requested the NPC (or even that the NPC was introduced a result of this fundraising item). This NPC is provided in addition to any that would have otherwise been provided by the public input.
The Plot Manager will create the NPC to be a good fit into the overall story and interact with the town as a whole. They are not completely designed by the player and will not interact exclusively with them, the player is just guaranteed that an NPC with the desired aspect is present to be interacted with.
NPCs requested with this item can vary in how experienced they are, ranging from level 1 (“total noob”) to level 10 (“sigma Sigmarite”). For example, a level 1 Wizard of the Lore of Heavens might be an apprentice who may or may not have learned any cantrips, and every two levels they would gain a rank in 5-rank Arcane Lore [Heavens] skill, up to rank 5 at level 10. For a tradesman, they’d likely possess 1 rank in their Labour/Extractor/Craftsman skill per level. NPCs will be filled in with other characteristic class skills that are balanced for their level.
Variable Cost: $200/level of NPC (under quantity select the number of levels you wish the NPC to have)
This item may only be purchased once per player and a maximum of 3 times at all (a lottery system will be used if there is excess demand).
